Hello friends!
My first gallery exhibition, titled, "Who You Say I Am" is on display at Beggars Table Gallery. The collection is a study of self-worth, and identity; exploring the lies we tell ourselves about our inadequacies, and how we can know our true value.
Beggars Table is a gallery, and also a worship space. They invited me to do an artist talk after one of their Sunday services, and to share the stories and thoughts that inspired this work.
That talk, in all of its seven minute glory, is below.
It takes courage to be vulnerable enough to share our stories; but I've also found it to be an incredibly beautiful experience. After all, stories are powerful things. When we share those stories with a heart of love, they can heal and grow our own hearts, and the hearts of those around us.
Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing, Jenny! Your talk was beautiful and so is your artwork! That’s exactly what I needed to hear today! God has yo right where He wants you and can use you!
Have a Blessed Day!
